CASA, the Caring and Sharing Association, regrets to announce that Restaurant 1014 has ceased trading. This also applies to the bookshop upstairs.
Following several years of success, the decision to close has been a difficult one. However at this point the restaurant needs significant additional investment which CASA regrets that it is not in a position to undertake.
We are grateful to all our customers, staff, volunteers, suppliers and the local community for all the support and contributions they have made to the success of Restaurant 1014 and Bookshop during our time at 324 Clontarf Road.
A new owner will open a new restaurant at 324 Clontarf Road in September 2014. CASA will have no direct involvement with this new venture restaurant but will be associated with it through a number of regular special events.
All gift vouchers sold to date will be honoured.
This notice has no implications for any other CASA activities and the charity will continue to provide socials, Lourdes pilgrimages and respite services to persons with disabilities as before.
