Breakhouse

Our house, An Chlann, based in Árd Na Mara, Malahide is a focal point for smaller group social outings and day breaks.  The house is suitably adapted focusing on those most in need of care in a smaller setting. Our regular day breaks are planned to meet the individual needs, abilities and interests of each member and will seek to support our members in communicating and interacting with others.  The structure of our day breaks vary but generally include a catch up with the members’ attending, teas, coffees, sandwiches and treats, a walk and are usually concluded with an entertaining sing song.

We have a fully accessible garden which provides a sunny social space (weather permitting) for our members to enjoy; particularly those who might not have regular access to a garden.

As well as running smaller social outings and day breaks in the house, our CASA Office is based here from where we administer the day to day operation of CASA.  Our small team are on hand daily to take calls, accept donations for our charity shops and are a touch point for our local community.
