This group was established in the last couple of years and is growing into a very active branch of the CASA local group network. Maynooth CASA had our first social of 2011 on Sunday last 30th Jan in the Westgrove Hotel in Clane and it was great to see everyone after the Christmas break. We had 36 in total a great turn out with four new volunteers Kate, Helen, Moira and Caoimhe who is also with the Raheny group, many thanks to them for their help. We started off with a lovely Mass as always from Fr. Douglas who lives in Straffan and is attached to the Celbridge Parish. After Mass we had food followed by the dancing, there were some great movers on the floor.
We had 8 or 9 great singers which took us up to 6 o’clock, time seems to go so fast when you are having fun.
