Andy McGovern here from the Longford branch!
I've just written an article about this wonderful season that's with
us. Spring! It may be of inspiration to some of our disabled colleagues.
I've put a lot of concentration, dedication and appreciation for what I've
got today into this article. As a disabled person, I'm looking at life
from a different angle. Disability has enlightened me to appreciate the wonders
that surround us. This beauty was always there but never utilised!
Thanks to CASA for everything. They have done for me in the past!

Spring
Through the Eyes of a Disabled Patient.
Yes, folk, it has arrived: Spring. I awoke this morning to the sound of birdsong. I opened the bedroom window and lay back in bed for a few minutes more, taking in natures indication that Winter is over or at least on the way out.
After breakfast, I went for my usual stroll, down as long narrow
country road (Boahreen) Spring, was all over the place, the rejuvenation
of shrub life was evident, buds on the whitethorn, the Sycamore and
the currant-bush.
