This is an update from Northside CASA Cork and the recent events in the group.
Last September we launched the Get Fit With CASA in the event of raising money for CASA as well as getting fit at the same time. 6 CASA members and friends met weekly to train for the Cork City Marathon the following June. Each week every member contributed money towards the fund.
The training went well and come June every member was fit and ready. Thankfully the marathon was a complete success and every member completed the marathon and because of this we aim to do the same this year.
We are also aiming to have a bowling night in October.
A huge welcome back to everyone after the summer and hopefully everyone had a great summer.
Lastly Congratulations to our helper Fiona Cronin who got married in August to Kieran Hennessy. We wish them the best of luck to them for the future.
