Every year CASA organises 4 - 6 holiday
breaks during
the summer. These holidays are based in our purpose built
house in Swords which can accommodate up to sixteen adults at one time.
We also use our respite house in Malahide accommodating a
similar number. Availing of the comforts of a home from home
environment many members enjoy activities that are not always available
to them.
The programme is carefully planned to suit the needs of individual members and is packed with variety, including such things as shopping, cinema, bowling, crafts, outings to the park , sports, nights out, day trips and excursions. These are always popular ways to spend our time.
One thing is for certain there are no 'lazy' days in the CASA summer schedule!
This is about our holiday in the Breakhouse in Swords. We were joined by our friends in the Malahide house. They had their own bus. They were great to have by our side. We went to different places - a show, bowling, shopping, a film in Blanchardstown , the races in Leopardstown and we had meals out. I was chuffed to be there.
